Thanks. The bar is actually a pretty good color match for the wheels, but it doesn’t look it in the photo because the wheels aren’t getting as much light as the bar.

Great pic. I love those cars and was super close to pulling the trigger on an Abarth a couple years ago. My sister daily drives a Lounge model and even that tr im just makes you smile when you drive it.

Thanks! I love these and don’t fit well in a Fiata so I imagine Miata would be a no no as well. Unless I slouch, the top of the windshield is in my face. Wife hated the 124 Abarth  as well. Thankfully, the 500 puts a huge smile on my face.

Very nice. I would have gone with the red but my last car was red and for variety’s sake I didn’t want another red car. The machine gray was my next favorite, but I do miss having color on my car

Apparently I haven’t taken any pictures of it since I washed it.  This was after mounting the refinished wheels and new tires. It collected a little bit of dust while I did all the routine maintenance bits.

nice another great color combo. All these colorful M iatas! I would have goen with the Soul Red but my last 2 cars were red and had a ‘no red’ rule when I bought this one.

I still like the gray though, lower key and keeps my shenanigans a little more stealthy.

Thanks, though the credit for the stripe at least goes to the other guy, which I have to agree was a very nice addition.

Exocet is currently running 245s all around, which to be honest is a good bit more than it actually needs (whatwith temperature struggles at cold autocross days, needing a ton of offset to not rub on the chassis, etc.), but they still get the job done and will be ready to go if/when more power is applied (as it’s just a stock 1.8L for now).

owner wraps it in matte gray for winter so im thinking the green is a pricey paintjob he/she is pretty protective of

I bought it for $900, and all told so far I’m a little over $2300 into it, with new suspension, steering stuff, brake stuff, seats, etc etc etc, and frankly, I’m just going to say it. Miatas suck. They are not fun to drive. There are so many other fun to drive cars out there.

Oh, I expected a money pit. And all told, it’s not THAT bad of a money pit (I’ve spent 9k+ on my Golf since Jun 2018), but I really just don’t like driving it. It’s not as fun as my other cars. I wanted something that would do donuts and burnouts, and it won’t do burnouts until it has more power, which means more money. I’ll probably put some color on it and sell it. NA prices are waaaaay higher than they should be and they’re likely to go higher.

If the Fiat had a telescopic wheel at the time I  purchased , I would have seriously considered the Abarth over the ND.
